Dr. Vernita Tucker is an obstetrician and gynecologist at the Meharry Clinic with more than 30 years of experience. Dr. Tucker provides women’s health services such as annual exams, pap smears, breast exams and family planning.
Dr. Tucker graduated with a medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind. and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Ill.
She is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Meharry Medical College and is also Clerkship Director for the department.
