Bio
Dr. Sunday Ogunde is a nephrologist at Meharry Medical Group. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He serves as the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program at Meharry Medical College and Chair of the Program Evaluation Committee.
Dr. Ogunde received his medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center/Drexel University College of Medicine, where he served in the leadership role of chief resident. He also completed a fellowship in the Renal and Electrolyte Division at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburg, Pa.
He is fluent in English and Yoruba and an active member of both the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology. In his free time, Dr. Ogunde enjoys watching soccer and college football.
