Bio
Dr. Jamie L. Ware is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist at the Meharry Clinic and Associate Professor in the Meharry School of Medicine. She is a women’s health provider who provides a range of patient services including annual exams, breast exams, family planning, minimally invasive surgery and addiction treatment for women.
Dr. Ware received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She completed her residency training from the Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital at the University of Texas, Houston Health Sciences Center in Houston, Texas.
She previously served as a provider and assistant professor at Meharry before serving as Medical Director of the HCA Tristar Centennial Women’s Emergency Room and the Site Director for OB Hospitalist Group Program at Centennial Medical Center.
Dr. Ware enjoys DIY rehab projects and she is married with two children.
