Bio
Dr. Jacquin Coombs, who was born in Jamaica and grew up in New Jersey, finished her undergraduate degree at New York University and earned her medical degree at Rutgers Robert Woods Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. She completed her internship and residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
In practice since 1999, Dr. Coombs is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and treats patients 13 years and older. Her primary clinical interests are high-risk obstetrics, hysterectomies and laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries.
She demonstrates her commitment to quality customer service by conducting all office visits and deliveries herself. She spends time with her patients and thoroughly explains conditions and procedures to them. Her patients value having someone they can identify with, and they appreciate her friendly staff.
Dr. Coombs is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.
A resident of the Museum District, Dr. Coombs likes to spend her leisure time working out, visiting museums, and attending ballet, plays and musicals.
