Dr. Digna Forbes is a pathologist at Meharry Medical Group with more than 20 years of experience.
Dr. Forbes received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Boston University in Boston, Mass., and a medical degree at State University of New York at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, N.Y. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Graduate Medical-Dental Education Consortium of Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y. She also served as Chief Resident in the Department of Pathology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill-Cornell Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Forbes has worked as a staff pathologist with Metropolitan Nashville General Hospital at Meharry since 1998.
