Bio
Dr. Desmar Walkes is a Board Certified Family Practitioner and the Founder of APLMG. Dr. Walkes trained at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX in 1986 and did her post graduate training at Baylor College of Medicine.
She opened her Bastrop practice in 1994 serving as a Family Practitioner providing care to families on both an in-patient and out-patient basis.
In an effort to offer the members of her adoptive community with more well-rounded, comprehensive care, she founded A+ Lifestyle Medical Group. She and her team are committed to quality and compassionate care for all of our patients.
