Bio
Dr. Carola B. Okogbaa is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing eye care and surgery in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas since 2013. She performs cataract and glaucoma surgery, diagnoses and treats eye problems.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She then completed her medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Okogbaa also pursued a one-year internal medicine training at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. She then moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where she completed her ophthalmology residency at Tulane University School of medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Okogbaa is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), The Louisiana Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons (LAEPS), and the New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology.
