Bio
Andronica Handie, DPM, MS, is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as the American College of Podiatric Orthopedics and Medicine. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and has practiced in Tulsa since 2006. In the event of surgery, Dr. Handie holds hospital privileges at Hillcrest South, St. John's Medical Center, Advanced Outpatient Surgery of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Surgical Hospital. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology in 1996 and three years later received his Master’s Degree in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1999.
After completing his Podiatric Medicine degree at Kent State University in 2003, Dr. Handie was trained by both Podiatric and Orthopedic Surgeons during his three-year residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Handie's multi-faceted practice includes but is not limited to trauma to the foot and ankle, procedures of the forefoot and rearfoot and ankle reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Andronica Handie is also a respected author of “Swift Enough to Endure - The power of a Grandmother’s Love.” This published work is the account of his journey from a poor childhood to overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles, achieving remarkable educational, as well as professional and medical accomplishments.
