Bio
Dr. King joined Athens Pulmonary in 2020. She completed her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship training at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha Nebraska. She completed medical school at Avalon University School of Medicine, residency training in Internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center McKeesport PA, where she also served as Chief Resident. She practiced briefly in Nebraska before moving to Georgia to be closer to her family.
Dr. King is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of general pulmonology including Asthma, COPD, Interstitial lung diseases. She has active privileges at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, Saint Mary’s Hospital, and Landmark Hospital of Athens.
