Dr. Dornechia George Carter is a board-certified dermatologist, and she is the founder and medical director of Affinity Dermatology in Frisco, Texas. Her practice encompasses medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Her special interests include psoriasis, skin of color, skin cancer treatment, and overall skin health. She offers a wide range of cosmetic services, including Botox® & Dysport ®, Restylane ® & Juvederm®, chemical peels, microneedling, mole and cyst removal, and lasers to meet patients’ skin care needs, no matter their shade. She finds joy in tailoring a treatment plan for each patient to achieve optimal results.
Dr. Carter has been featured on NBC Channel 5, NPR, Trinity Broadcasting Network, the CW Network, DocTalk Live, and in the Dallas Morning News and other national publications covering sun protection, skin cancer, general care, and alopecia. She is a past president of the award-winning C.V. Roman Medical Society, the DFW branch of the National Medical Association, a recipient of the 2018 Woman of the Year Award from Greater North Dallas Business and Professional Women’s Club. She is honored to be selected as a Local Magazine Best Doctor.
