Bio
Dr. Hamilton is a Professor of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM), with secondary appointments in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Psychiatry. He obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from Harvard University and a master’s degree in Health Sciences Technology from MIT. He completed residency training in Neurology and a fellowship in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology at Penn before joining the faculty in 2009. Dr. Hamilton’s laboratory research employs noninvasive neuromodulation to characterize and remediate human cognition in neurological disorders. He directs the Laboratory for Cognition and Neural Stimulation (LCNS) and the Penn Brain Science, Translation, Innovation and Modulation Center (brainSTIM).
