Bio
Dr. Arthurine K. Zakama is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah. She earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, completed her residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and pursued her Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. She has dedicated her efforts to advancing health equity and addressing systemic barriers in high-risk pregnancy care. As a committed mentor and advocate, Dr. Zakama fosters equitable, patient-centered care through research, education, and leadership.
