Bio
Dr. Deon L. Tolliver is a family medicine practitioner at the Meharry Clinic.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Meharry in May 2013 and holds a Master of Science in Public Health/Health Services Administration from Meharry. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a B.S. in biology. Dr. Tolliver completed a family medicine residency at Meharry.
Before joining the Meharry Clinic, Dr. Tolliver worked as a family medicine physician at Neighborhood Health in Lebanon, TN. He also previously worked as a Biology Professor at Volunteer State Community College where he prepared/implemented biology curriculum and evaluated performance.
Dr. Tolliver is a former board member of the National Black Leadership Initiative on Cancer in Nashville.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He volunteers with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Nashville CARES.
