Bio
Dr. Osamudiamen Osa-Edoh is board-certified in general Adult Psychiatry. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Meharry Medical College. He also serves as the Associate Residency Training Director and Elam Mental Health Center Site Director.
He obtained his medical degree from the School of Medicine at the College of Medical Sciences, University of Benin in Benin City, Nigeria. He received his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the School of Public Health, St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his psychiatry residency at Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee where he was Chief Resident.
As graduating resident, Dr. Osa-Edoh was the sole winner of the award for Distinguished Service by the Tennessee Valley Hospital System at the Alvin C. York Veterans Affairs (VA) Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was also the sole winner of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society award.
Dr. Osa-Edoh provides psychiatric services at the Elam Mental Health Center in the outpatient clinic and in the residential co-occurring program. He also provides outpatient psychiatric services at the Meharry Community Wellness Center.
