Meharry alum Dr. Dontal Johnson is a pediatrician at the Meharry Clinic. He provides services such as sick visits, school/sports physicals and immunizations.
His favorite aspect of pediatrics is making a difference in the lives of many wonderful children.
Dr. Johnson was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Texas. He received his undergrad degree in Clinical Laboratory Services from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center then worked at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from Meharry and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
He and his wife Erica have four fantastic children.
