Bio
Dr. Vladimir Berthaud is an internal medicine doctor at Meharry Medical Group and sees patients for infectious disease treatment and HIV management at the Meharry Community Wellness Clinic.
Dr. Berthaud graduated with a medical degree from the Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and completed a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics at Columbia University School of Public Health and School of Medicine in New York. He completed a residency in Pulmonary Medicine and Tuberculosis at the State University of Haiti Sanatorium in Port-au-Prince and an Internal Medicine residency at Kingsbook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. He also completed an Infectious Disease fellowship at Cornell Medical College’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Berthaud’s primary research interest is prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. In addition to English, he is fluent in Spanish, Creole and French.
