Bio
Dr. Richard O. Odero is a board-certified radiologist in diagnostic radiology with a special interest in body imaging. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern (Dallas) and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Odero has been with Community Radiology Associates (CRA) since 2004. He was inspired to become a physician from family members who are also in medicine. Though he originally planned to go into surgery or anesthesia, he grew inspired to become a radiologist during medical school while making rotations in different departments.
“I was interested in it because there was a lot of anatomy,” Dr. Odero says. “I like the more general aspect of it and the technology in the field; every day can be a little or a lot different.”
When not working, Dr. Odero enjoys weight lifting and spending time with his children.
