Dr. Ibe is an Assistant Professor of Joint Arthroplasty and Musculoskeletal Oncology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Ibe is a Yale trained Orthopaedic Surgeon where he honed his passion for caring for patients. His interest to care for patients with complex musculoskeletal problems were fostered. He was chief resident at Yale. Dr. Ibe completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal oncology at the University of Toronto Mt. Sinai Hospital/ Princess Margaret and Sick Kids hospitals.
He has a passion for treating complex Orthopaedic problems including Joint Arthroplasty, benign as well as malignant soft tissue and bone lesions. Dr. Ibe is an avid clinician and researcher, he has been involved in research including translational, clinical and grant funded basic science research. He has numerous publications and presentations in the field of joint arthroplasty and musculoskeletal oncology.
