Simisola Caxton-Idowu, MD is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist with Ascension Medical Group. She provides care to women from adolescence to menopause. She focuses on women's health and provides annual gynecological exams as well as management of abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain and fibroids. Dr. Caxton-Idowu provides prenatal care and manages both low and high risk pregnancies. Dr. Caxton-Idowu, MD has a special interest in surgery and provides a minimally invasive approach to surgery including da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. She believes it is her job to empower patients to be involved in shared decision making for their healthcare and has a strong desire to educate and advocate for her patients. Outside of the office, Dr. Caxton-Idowu, MD enjoys travel, reading and exercising.
