With over 18+ years in practice as a board-certified podiatrist, Kurte W. Shepherd, DPM, is a trusted practitioner. Dr. Shepherd, a Houston native, proudly welcomes patients to his practice, Elite Footcare of Texas, Inc. in Missouri City, Texas.
After completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry minor at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas, Dr. Shepherd was accepted into medical school. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio (now known as Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Shepherd went on to complete his internship, followed by his Podiatric Medical residencies at University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio, TX, Veteran Administration Medical Center-Richmond, VA, Veteran Administration Medical Center-Augusta, GA, UCLA / Veteran Administration Medical Center-Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Shepherd also has a Masters of Science in Management Information Systems (Medical Informatics) from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
