Bio
Dr. JaTerra Ross grew up in Chicago, IL. She has always been fascinated by dentistry, even though she grew up being terrified of the dentist! She chose a career in dentistry to help eliminate the fear and anxiety often associated with dental offices.
After high school, she earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Southern Illinois University in 2009. Dr. Ross then worked as a hygienist for about five years before she felt the calling to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and graduated cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in June 2019.
Dr. Ross loves to learn the latest techniques in dentistry by taking continuing education courses. She is also an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. When Dr. Ross isn’t caring for her patients, she loves to spend time with family, travel, attend concerts, and exercise.
