Bio
A native St. Louisian, Dr. Alison C. Nash graduated from Northwest High School in 1973. She went on to attend Howard University in Washington DC, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemistry.
Dr. Nash was awarded the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship which enabled her to attended Baylor College of Medicine and earn a Doctor of Medicine degree. She entered the United States Navy as an ensign. During her 11 years of service, she completed pediatric residency training at Naval Hospital Oakland, California, served as Director of the Pediatric Clinic, Naval Station Treasure Island, California, and was staff pediatrician at Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan, and attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Upon completion of service in the US Navy, Dr. Nash joined her father Dr. Homer Nash’s pediatric practice located in North St. Louis. She has been in pediatric practice in St. Louis and a member of the medical staff of St. Louis Children’s Hospital since 1989.
