Bio
Dr. Taryn Richardson is a board-certified doctor specializing in Allergy & Immunology and the provider of Comprehensive Allergy & Asthma Care Center. She was born in Washington, DC and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland. After completing high school, she attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy. She immediately entered Howard University College of Medicine upon completing Pharmacy school. After completing medical school, she went on to complete a Pediatric residency at East Carolina University. While there, she was selected to serve as Chief Resident / Associate Staff in the Department of Pediatrics. She then completed her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She returned home to Maryland and has practiced in the area since 2009.
Dr. Richardson is a member of both the AAAAI and ACAAI. She is also a member of the Maryland State Medical Society. Her special interests include community outreach and education. She has done various speaking engagements with daycare centers, for both parents and instructors, on food allergy and asthma.
